Biography
Xun Shao is an Associate Professor in the Information and Communication Systems Course (Department of Electrical and Electronic Information Engineering) at Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan. His research centers on edge computing, intelligent networking, and smart systems for next-generation infrastructure.
He integrates computing, communications, and artificial intelligence to develop scalable and cost-efficient solutions for distributed and heterogeneous networked systems. His work includes mobile edge computing, multi-agent reinforcement learning for vehicular and IoT networks, and adaptive resource orchestration for smart city applications.
He received his Ph.D. from Osaka University and previously held research positions at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), as well as an Assistant Professorship at Kitami Institute of Technology. His research has been supported by competitive grants and published in leading international journals and conferences.
